Eleni Apostolis

Eleni Apostolis holds a Masters of Music in Opera from The University of Texas at Austin, where she studied voice with Professor Darlene Wiley and Opera with Dr. Robert DeSimone. During her graduate studies, she performed the role of Adina in Donizetti's The Elixir of Love. Eleni performed the roles of Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro and Mme. Silbertonen in Der Schauspieldirektor with the Austrian American Mozart Academy in Salzburg, Austria. As an undergraduate, she performed the roles of Adele, Barbarina, Constance Fletcher and Miss Pinkerton. Eleni made her concert debut with the Houston Sinfonietta in February 2003 where she sang the United States premier of Kalomiris' Magic Herbs. In honor of her Greek heritage, Eleni performed some songs by Kalomiris in New York with the Hellenic Music Foundation. In addition, Eleni is the newest member of the Lyric Opera of San Antonio Studio. She will be singing Menotti's The Telephone this April. Ms. Apostolis is honored to sing again with the Houston Sinfonietta. |
